0 Woman tried to kill 2 men over beer, police say

PALM BAY, Florida - A Palm Bay woman is accused of trying to kill two men over beer.

Police said Mitzi Martinez, 50, and the victims were drinking at her Brevard County home Thursday.

Barry Allen and David Smith were handed money by Martinez and instructed to buy more beer, according to an arrest affidavit.

Police said Martinez got into an argument with one of the men, and Allen and Smith left taking the beer with them to a tent they were living in.

Five hours later, police said Smith and Allen woke up to find their tent on fire.  More

Delaware - A star of the popular MTV show 16 and Pregnant has been arrested for prostitution.

Valerie Fairman was in New Castle, Delaware when she allegedly agreed to perform a sexual act on an undercover cop in exchange for money.

Cops approached Fairman after they spotted her streetwalking.

Fairman appeared on the second season of 16 and Pregnant along with her boyfriend Matt, and gave birth to a daughter, Nevaeh.

At the time, Fairman was a 15-year-old high school sophomore living in Pennsylvania. More

0 Man Out On Bail For Girlfriend's Murder Charged In Aunt's Fatal Shooting

HOUSTON – Houston police have now charged Dante Thomas with murder for his alleged involvement in the Willowbrook Mall shootings that left his aunt dead and his cousin critically injured.

Thomas was also charged with aggravated assault of a family member for allegedly shooting his cousin.

Court documents show Thomas was at the mall the night the women were shot. Thomas called his mother to pick him up at Willowbrook Wednesday night, according to the records. He told her that he had fought with his cousin earlier that day.

The woman told police she was driving Thomas to surrender but he jumped out of the car, according to documents. More

0 Georgia Deputy Accused Of Handcuffing, Beating 12-Year-Old Boy

RICHMOND CO., Ga. - The Richmond County Sheriff's Office has released the name of a now former deputy accused of handcuffing a 12-year-old to a basketball goal and abusing him.

According to The Richmond County Sheriff's Office, Alton Walter is accused of going to a friend's house to provide discipline for what's being described as an unruly 12-year-old boy on Tuesday. There, the off-duty uniformed deputy allegedly hit the child in the face with his hand several times, punched him in the stomach, and threatened him with his Taser.

The report states Walker is accused of striking the child in his legs and ASP baton but the only visible marks shown on the child were on his wrist.

The mother tells 12 she wasn't home at the time and she just wanted Walker to talk to her son, not beat him. More
