A Bronx paraplegic who was allegedly acting as the getaway driver during a deadly East Harlem stickup would have made a clean escape if only he hadn’t mouthed off to a homeless man looking for change, law-enforcement sources told The Post.
Wayne Stewart (picture), a reputed gang leader who lost one leg and can’t use the other, was allegedly waiting for his accomplices in a handicap-equipped rental car when he chastised the beggar for claiming to be disabled.
Stewart was busted later after the bum, still seething over the insult, happily put cops on his trail. More Strange News
