CORVALLIS, Oregon - A 19-year-old former Oregon State University student was arrested on allegations of filming a solo porn film in the school's library.

Oregon State Police said Kendra Jane Sunderland, 19, of Corvallis, was arrested and charged with public indecency in connection with a "solo act" filmed in the school's library.

The video, uploaded to adult website Pornhub, was allegedly filmed on the sixth floor of the school's Valley Library in October of last year, school officials said. More

BALTIMORE —The 11 News I-Team has obtained video of a violent scuffle between a school police officer and three middle school girls, and it brings into question whether the officer's use of force was justified.

The girls had to be taken to a hospital, and their children were sent to alternative schools.

A gash in a forehead and blood on a shirt is not what any parent expects to happen to a child, especially at school.

"She had six stitches. No, I'm sorry -- 10. Four on the inside and six on the outside," said Tashona Neals, the mother of 13-year-old Diamond. The girl's injuries came at the end of October inside Vanguard Middle School in northeast Baltimore. More   Watch Video

SARASOTA, Florida – Authorities in Florida said they arrested a teacher accused of pawning laptop computers belonging to the school district.

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said Adam Seider, 36, an art teacher at Pine View School in Osprey, was arrested Tuesday on allegations of pawning three Hewlett-Packard Elite laptop computers on six different occasions between June and November 2014.

Seider, who allegedly received a total $260 for the laptops, which were each valued at $1,400, told deputies he purchased the items back after pawning them to avoid detection. More

UK – The man spent five hours trapped by his ankles on a narrow window frame, suspended several feet from the floor of a lecture room hall at Nottingham Trent University.

Minnesota – A northwestern Minnesota woman has admitted that she murdered her boyfriend by lashing him by the neck to an SUV and dragging him along a country road.

Jessica M. Kilde, 33, of Ogema, pleaded guilty this week in Becker County District Court to second-degree intentional murder in the Aug. 15 death of Richard A. Baity, 41.

According to prosecutors: Sheriff’s deputies found Baity’s body on the road about 50 yards from his driveway along E. 370th Street in Maple Grove Township.

Evidence pointed to Baity having been dragged, including the discovery nearby of a broken strap that was consistent with the fresh marks on the victim’s neck. More

0 Police: Man Relieved Himself Onto Waitress

Even in the freewheeling nightspots of Key West, Florida, a patron is not allowed to urinate onto a waitress from a bar balcony.

According to police, that is what Orion Jones, 20, did early Saturday morning at Rick’s, which bills itself as the island’s largest bar complex. 

A Key West Police Department cop was flagged down at 2:20 AM by a Rick’s worker due to a man “who was urinating on a female staff member from the balcony above.”

When officers first confronted Jones, he was fighting with club security in the street. Jones subsequently fled from cops after he was released by security, but was eventually handcuffed after twice being tased by officers. More

COVENTRY, England – British police released CCTV footage of a woman recorded standing up from her wheelchair and walking around a store while shoplifting.

West Midlands Police said the woman came into the Marks and Spencer food store in Coventry, England, Jan. 11 with a male accomplice pushing her around in a wheelchair, but the security cameras caught her getting up from the chair to conceal items under her coat.

0 Mother, Mother's Boyfriend Charged After 16-Month-Old Son Dies From Blunt Force Trauma

The mother of a 16-month-old boy who authorities say died after being severely beaten by her boyfriend was ordered held Monday in lieu of $250,000 bail, prosecutors said.

Dominique Smith, 24, of the 1100 block of West Marquette Road, was charged with one felony count of endangering the life and health of a child, police said.

Prosecutors said Smith had left her baby and three other children, ages 5, 4 and 2, with Dantis Porter on several occasions. When Smith arrived home from work on Dec. 23, she saw burns on her youngest child's right thigh and lower leg but she did not take the boy to a hospital, according to court documents.

On Christmas Day, Smith took her baby son, Johnny "B.J." Kimble, to his great-aunt's house. When the great-aunt saw burns on B.J.'s hand, thigh and lower leg, she told Smith to take the boy to a hospital, prosecutors said. But Smith didn't do that, authorities said. More

0 Warrant issued for suspect in case of missing elderly Georgia couple

Authorities in Georgia have issued an arrest warrant in connection with the case of a missing elderly couple who have not been seen since they responded to a Craigslist advertisement about a car.

Elrey "Bud" Runion, 69, and his 66-year-old wife June, of Cobb County, were reported missing by their three daughters Friday when they did not show up to babysit their grandchildren as promised.

Family members told WAGA that the couple was last seen in Marietta, outside Atlanta, Thursday morning. They were planning on driving to the small town of McRae, in southeastern Georgia, to look at a 1966 Ford Mustang they were interested in buying from someone on Craigslist.

Telfair County sheriff's deputies say that they are looking for 28-year-old Ronnie "Jay" Towns. He is currently wanted for giving false statements to investigators, as well as criminal attempt to commit theft by deception. More

South Carolina - An 11-year-old South Carolina boy is facing an arson charge after allegedly setting a fire inside a Walmart that caused millions of dollars in damages to the business, police report.

The boy’s 13-year-old cousin has also been charged in connection with the December 31 blaze.

According to investigators, the boy stole a lighter while inside the Columbia store and, with his cousin, used it to set a fire in the Walmart’s greeting card aisle.

The father of a 3-week-old baby girl was arrested on suspicion of murder after the infant was found dead in Newhall Saturday morning.

Los Angeles County sheriff's officials said the the baby's body was found in a Nissan pickup truck in a parking lot in the 23630 block of Newhall Avenue around 8 a.m., about a half-mile from where she lived with her mother, father and grandmother.

Investigators identified the father of the child as 30-year-old Matthew Warner.

After serving nearly four decades behind bars, Joseph Sledge was found innocent by a three-judge panel who heard testimony from a DNA expert.

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire – A New Hampshire man agreed to watch over twin 9-year-old boys while their parents were in Africa, but left them mostly alone for four and a half months, authorities said.

Giobari Atura, 25, of Manchester, the boys’ uncle, is free on $500 personal recognizance bail and faces charges for endangering the welfare of a child.

0 Puppy killed when used as weapon by man in beating of girlfriend

KALAMAZOO, MI – In November, Timothy Tucker punched his girlfriend in the face and then pummeled her with the couple's two-week-old puppy to the point that the small animal defecated on the woman and died.

"I've been doing this ... for 25 years," Kalamazoo County Assistant Prosecutor Mike Reisterer said Tuesday as Tucker, 51, appeared in circuit court for sentencing in the November assault.

0 'Amazing' K-9 killed in hunt for Southern California felon; suspect shot dead

A wanted felon who killed a police dog was shot dead by California police late Wednesday when he emerged from a house he was barricaded in brandishing a handgun, authorities said.

The identity of the suspect was not released, but he had been in a standoff with police at the Riverside County residence for hours. Authorities sent the K-9 "Sultan" into the residence through a small crawlspace, and he came out with unspecified injuries. Sultan died at the scene.

The dog, a Belgian Malinois-German shepherd mix, belonged to the San Jacinto Police Department, which is run via contract by the Sheriff's Department. The dog was from Slovakia and had been patrolling since November 2013.

"There is a very close bond between K-9 and the deputy he's assigned to," Sgt. Mike Manning told The Riverside Press-Enterprise. More

MIDDLETOWN, New York – A crushed couch, a crumpled sign, and some clothing are all that were left after a man took a bulldozer to the home that he lived in.

As CBS2’s Tony Aiello reported, there was one major problem with the man’s demolition plan — his wife, who was the registered owner, allegedly never knew about it.

A modest 900-square foot ranch home on Woodland Avenue in Middletown, New York has been reduced to a pile of rubble by the owner’s husband 48-year-old James Rhein.

Neighbor Steve Belfiglio said Rhein rented an excavator on Monday and demolished the house and everything in it. More

MARIETTA, Georgia – A high school coach in suburban Atlanta is accused of biting another coach’s face.

An arrest warrant states that South Cobb High School girls basketball coach Melonie Joyce Martin was standing about two inches from Coach Tyrone Harris when authorities say she bit him in the eye and nose.

Martin’s attorney, S. Carlton Rouse, tells WSB-TV Martin denied touching Harris and never threatened his safety.

Seminole County prosecutors have charged five underage Winter Springs High football players with gang rape.

Two are now being prosecuted as adults.

They are Deoante Stewart, who turned 17 the day of the alleged attack, and Marquis Pierre, who was 16 at the time but is now 17.

0 Cardiac Surgeon Shot At Brigham And Women’s Hospital

BOSTON — A male cardiac surgeon was critically wounded in a shooting at Brigham And Women’s Hospital on Tuesday morning, a source told WBZ-TV.

A source told WBZ-TV’s Ken MacLeod that the shooter was a male patient who shot the surgeon, then walked to a second-floor bathroom in the Shapiro Center and shot and killed himself. Police could not immediately confirm that the suspect was dead.

Boston police said in a Twitter post that the situation was under control and that the hospital is not in a lockdown.

ANDERSON, California - A UPS driver from Shasta County was arrested for grand theft, after hundreds of thousands of dollars in gold and silver were reported missing.

The silver coins, silver bars and gold bars never reached their destination after being shipped through UPS.

Kevin Peel, 40 of Anderson, a driver with UPS, was arrested Friday on charges of grand theft and is held in the Shasta County jail on $250,000 bail.
