Since Brenda Kalema stepped down from the post of treasurer in 2011 to become the VP, UNAA did not seem to have access to the Wells Fargo accounts that Brenda had opened up for UNAA.
We have read here that current UNAA leaders are required by Wells Fargo to first get personal accounts in Wells Fargo before they can become signatories to the UNAA accounts.
I think this is incorrect. What is needed is a valid resolution removing Brenda from the accounts and adding whoever UNAA wants.
According to UNAA's poorly drafted Constitution (or whatever is left of that Constitution!), the treasurer has to be a signatory plus either the President or the Secretary .ie it would be Jude plus either Brian or Aisha but I think it would be okay to have Jude plus both Brian and Aisha. Since Jude was toppled by the Wilson camp, I am not sure if Brian is the sole signatory in his dual role as Treasurer AND President or if he'd want Aisha to join him him.
As for the Brenda's personal accounts that Brian said were linked to UNAA's accounts, I doubt that the bank will give UNAA access to those accounts without Brenda's consent. But if UNAA gets access to its accounts that Brenda opened, UNAA should be able to see how much money was transferred from UNAA's accounts to Brenda's accounts. If UNAA sues Brenda for theft and embezzlement (transferring UNAA's money to her account) userpation of , UNAA can easily gain access to her personal accounts.
