A man and a woman whose bodies were pulled from he Cal-Sag Channel Friday night after a boating accident have been identified, officials said Sunday.
Autopsies today determined the woman, 40-year-old Viengsavnh Bielarz, of the 9200 block of West 140th Street in Orland Park, and the man, Jeremy Muzika, 33, of Palos Hills, both died of drowning and multiple injuries from the boat striking a barge, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Their deaths were ruled accidents, the office said.
