{UAH} STATE HOUSE JOBS: WESTERN UGANDA HAS 12 TRIBES

Posted by Blogger Name. Category:

There is this strange thing of lumping 'westerners' together as if western Uganda was one tribe. There are at least 12 tribes in this region...they are not even conveniently brought together by an artificial political convenience the way the Kalenjin grouping was created. Whoever does 'analysis' of 'tribes' in Uganda, please, disaggregate each tribe, so that we compare Batooro versus Baganda, Batuku versus Karimojong, et al...not simply ' westerners'.....it works better that...else, we will lump Basoga, Japs, Bagisu, Sabiny  as 'easterners'.....
