A 19-year-old Pilsen man has been accused of sexually assaulting three underage family members over a period of several years.
Gerardo Rodriguez, of the 1100 block of West 19th Street, began sexually assaulting the first victim as early as 2008 when she was 10 and he was 13, according to Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney Sarah Karr.
Assault of the second and third victims started in 2010 when they were 10 and 12, and continued until June of this year, according to court documents.
Rodriguez was charged with four counts of criminal sexual assault, including two counts of predetermined criminal sexual assault of a victim under age 13, aggravated criminal sexual assault of a victim from age 9 to 13 and criminal sexual assault of a family member under 18.
Cook County Judge Maria Kuriakos Ciesil ordered Rodriguez held on $800,000 bail. As a special condition of his bond, he is not to have any contact with anyone under 18, including the victims or their families.
