Early summary and future schedule

Phew, the year is almost done. So, while we are all busy with the holiday festivities, let's see how it all rounded up. I finished my 9th semester in the university, so far so good, but the best is yet to come as they say. I am for the time being without steady income, but my expenses are fairly low so it was not a problem. Next spring things will hopefully look different for my finances. In a happy relationships for which I'm grateful.
The new chain&plate mails will be postponed for a while -  exam session is soon to follow in January not to mention that the cold weather is hardly an incenstive to hard work. That does not mean this blog will remain without updates of course. I found good use for the rhodium and gold plated links I bought. What exactly, you will see soon enough.

Anyway, Merry Christmas to everyone and a Happy New year. Let's hope it will be better than this one.
Cheers mates.

Future schedule

With Christmas, new year's eve and above all - my university exam session coming, I might not be able to post as often as I wish. For now here is what's in the works.

I've started two more chain&plate armors. Now that I have some experience with it, I just need to sit down and make em. They will be a bit different, I am recycling old parts again, but the general principle remains the same. Depending on how things develop, production in January will be sketchy. I still need to get someone with a car to help me resupply with metal and wire.

I've started another uuuuh, how should I call it... Battle ready armored plushie, like the Bunny knight, with a 3rd in the plans. These are quite fun to make to be honest and much easier on your hands, even it not on your eyes. With sufficient breaks and good light I need to fear putting on glasses of course.

(Finally) Both good and bad news on the edicational front

First - the good news. My lecture in  criminal procedure law (don't mix it with criminal code - that's the sets the different types of crimes, responsibility, liability and their respective punishments - the first is the actual ways of implementing them - from the police investigation, through courts and trial and eventually, verdict.) was moved from Saturday to Monday. That means - Yay FREEDOM! on Saturday, because seriously, nobody likes lectures on Saturday, especially if there is a hangover involved in this.

Buuuuut there is a bad side. Monday was my only day with only 1 thing on the program. Now, I don't have a time window big enough to go and work in that lawyer's firm, so basically my finances for the 1st semester lost one major source. No fun having free time on Saturday and no money for beer.

Last day of freedom

Well, its on tomorrow - official ceremony and all that aaaaaand the university year starts in earnest. Can't say I am too happy about that. Program for the first semester is already out and it seems I will be busy 6 days in the week. Adding injury to insult, most of the lectures and courses are around midday, which means that with travelling time included, I will use up the whole day no matter how many hours I actually have there. That will mess up my intern job like nothing else. Quite annoying really. Being last year as I said before does not help things, state exams etc and a full time job are waiting on the horizon, and the fact that I have lost much of my initial taste for studying law and practising it brings some bad implications. I am not too thrilled with an attorney's position - now that I have seen the system first hand. True law is not limited to attorneys and lawyers, there are many other jobs for someone who has studied it, but a quick search has shown me, law students are among those have the hardest time finding a job relevant to their studies. I can't even start something else in the same university. Since its state sponsored, taxes for the semester are very low, but you can't sign in again once go through it once even if you are willing to pay much more. That leaves only the private universities as a possible choice and they are expensive to say the least.
