0 Ferguson Protestors Not Making Any Friends

New York – Before the holiday weekend and today, the Monday morning afterwards, those protesting the Ferguson grand jury decision aren’t winning over any hearts or minds with their tactics.

Before a predicted snowstorm was about to hit the East Coast, protesters in New York City decided to shut down the FDR Drive, a major thoroughfare, as New Yorkers were trying to get home after work and before Thanksgiving weekend.

How this action could possibly sway those stuck in their cars trying to get home to their families is beyond comprehension. NYPD officers were attacked, as Gothamist reported,

After taking the FDR, the protest swung back to the Williamsburg Bridge, where hundreds of people pressed against a hastily arranged phalanx of NYPD officers who wielded barricades and punched at the bolder demonstrators trying to break through. More    Strange News

0 Woman uses Taser on 3-year-old child

ST. PETERSBURG, Florida - St. Petersburg police arrested a woman who they said used a taser on a 3-year-old child.

Ramona Braswell, 30, faces a single child abuse charge.

She was released from the Pinellas County Jail after posting $5,000 bond Saturday night, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the arrest affidavit, Braswell ”intentionally touched her 3-year-old in the arm with an electric taser causing visible injuries.” More    Strange News

0 Gang of Hispanic and black males beat St Louis motorist to death with hammers in front of his wife

 

St. Louis – A gang of teenagers used hammers to beat a newlywed to death in front of his wife and friend after they attacked his car early on Sunday morning in an apparently random attack.

Zemir Begic (picture with wife) was heading home from a bar at 1:15 a.m in St Louis when a group of teenagers surrounded his car and began banging on it.

The 32-year-old stepped out of the vehicle, only to be yelled at and set upon with hammers, striking him in the head, abdomen and face and leaving him fatally injured.

Two males, ages 15 and 16, were taken into custody - police say they know the identity of a third teen they suspect was involved.

The suspects are described as being a group of Hispanic and black males by the St Louis Post-Dispatch. More   Strange News

0 Police Officer Accused Of Shooting Woman In Road Rage

HOUSTON – A reserve deputy constable with Harris County Precinct 6 has been charged with shooting a driver in a road rage incident earlier this month on the 610 South Loop, Houston police said.

Kenneth Caplan, 34, was arrested on Wednesday. He is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, accused of shooting a woman and grazing her head.

She was driving on the South Loop between Buffalo Speedway and Kirby on Nov. 11 when she was shot, according to Houston Police Department spokesman Kese Smith. She had non-life-threatening injuries, Smith said.

Caplan had fled the scene, but authorities found him at his home Wednesday and he confessed to shooting at the other driver, according to Smith. More   Strange News
