The spree of shootings in Chicago during the three-day holiday weekend reached 82 incidents and left 14 dead, according to police reports. The bloodshed did not occur in a war torn region. It happened in the nation's heartland, Chicago.

The victims ranged from a 14-year old boy shot by police to a 66 year old woman. The chaos is staggering when displayed on a simple Google Map.
