A 3-year-old boy died Wednesday night after he fell from a second floor window at a home on the city's Northwest Side.
The boy, Mohammed Alyamani, was pronounced dead at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lutheran General Hospital, a spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner's office said.
He fell Tuesday about 1:30 p.m. from the second floor of his home, in the 3700 block of North Kostner Avenue, in the city's Old Irving Park neighborhood. .
Detectives are conducting a death investigation, police said. No one is in custody.
