Three separate shootings left three men wounded, and police exchanged gunfire with a man in another incident overnight.
Preliminary reports said the man police shot at is in custody and is not injured. Police said a weapon was recovered from the scene.
That police-involved shooting happened about 2:50 a.m. in the 6400 block of South Campbell Avenue. It's not clear what prompted police to open fire.
