Kelly Bronson, the Oak Lawn Hooters waitress who appeared in the 2013 Hooters calendar, has her eye on another prize.

She'd like to be 2014 Miss Hooters International. The 26-year-old mom beat out Chicago-area waitresses from the region's 11 Hooters restaurants to be one of 100 pageant hopefuls vying for the crown on July 23 in Las Vegas.

A 2006 Evergreen Park High School graduate, Bronson has worked at Hooters in Oak Lawn for seven years.

“I just want this. I want this so bad. There’s so many girls and I’m older. I’m competing against some that are 19 (years old),” she recently told Sun-Times Media.
