Thought of the Day - 9 May 2014

Pete Hodgson was, of course, a senior Labour Party MP, and Labour's strategic genius in the run-up to Labour's loss at the polls in 2008. But the man who succeeded him as Labour's strategic genius for 2011, Trevor Mallard, would do well to take note.

On this occasion Pete Hodgson was dead right. It does not matter how many times Trevor Mallard, Grant Robertson, David Cunliffe, Chris Hipkins and even Russel Norman and Winston Peters tell porkies. The lies don't become any less porcine by being endlessly repeated.
