When Arsenal fell two goals down after just eight minutes of this morning's FA Cup final we were worried. Hull City started in a frenetic manner, but our nerves settled some when Arsenal pulled one back after 16 minutes.
The Gunners equalised in the second half, and the match went to extra time. And in the 109th minute Aaron Ramsey scored an absolute stunner of a goal after a back-heel from Olivier Giroud to give Arsenal a record-equalling 11th FA Cup.
Supporting a side like Arsenal is an exercise in frustration. At times they play sublime football, and at others they make inexplicable errors. But this morning they have won the final, and most historic trophy of the English football season. It's Arsenal's first major trophy in nine years, so allow us a wee celebratory gloat!
