We just spotted this on Twitter:
Is this actually legal? Is it OK for a political party to pay a salary to aspiring candidates?
More to the point perhaps, does Kim Dotcom actually have the money to pay these salaries, or are people going to give up good jobs then find that there's no money to pay them in their new gig?
We have just two more questions. It sounds as though the Mana-Internet Party merger is going ahead; is this the price the Herr Dotcom is prepared to pay Hone Harawira for his party to be in Parliament? And if so, what do the Greens think about that, principled as they are?
So many questions; this seems very, very odd.
