A judge has agreed to schedule a court hearing for rapper Chief Keef so it won't interfere with his tour schedule.
Keef's attorney Leah Starkman made the request this morning at a Lake County court hearing dealing with the 18-year-old musician's March arrest for DUI.
Judge Veronica O’Malley granted the request and also agreed to allow for a drug and alcohol evaluation to be conducted in California, where Keef is recording an album.
Keef, whose real name is Keith Cozart, was not in court today. His next hearing in the DUI case is scheduled for Aug. 22.
