There IS NO WONDER why our elected officials have a lower approval rating than Adolph Hitler - Lawmakers on Capitol Hill had a bit of an awkward kumbaya moment Tuesday, when they held hands and swayed together as “We Shall Overcome,” the famous song from the Civil Rights movement, played at a congressional event

Lawmakers on Capitol Hill had a bit of an awkward kumbaya moment Tuesday, when they held hands and swayed together as “We Shall Overcome,” the famous song from the Civil Rights movement, played at a congressional event.
Some of the lawmakers, which included House Speaker John Boehner, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, didn’t look that happy to be there, and some didn’t even appear to be singing the words to the well-known anthem.
The lawmakers were at an ceremony celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.  Lawmakers also awarded posthumously the Congressional Gold Medal to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King.

Maybe they should get together and sing all the verses to the item below and act like they believe it, then get their business together and properly fund the Vererans in this country so they get proper medical care anywhere they want to go.
