As police began investigating, they were apprised that four people who had been shot had fled the scene. Three went to a local hospital to be treated. A fourth person called from a nearby home.
Two men suffered non-life threatening wounds and were treated and released from Franciscan St. James Health hospital in Chicago Heights. The two others were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
