Two boys from Gary, Ind. drowned in Hobart, Ind. (WGN)
Three-year-old Liam Vaughn forgot to put his floaties back on after eating and drowned in a relative's pool, one of four drowning deaths over the weekend that also included two Indiana boys.
A 3-year-old girl apparently drowned this afternoon in the far southwest city of Morris, authorities said. Her death is one four similar apparent drownings of children this weekend.
Most recently, authorities were called to the city of Morris, about 65 miles southwest of Chicago, where a 3-year-old girl apparently drowned this afternoon while outside, possibly in a backyard pool about 4:15 p.m., officials said.
